Connect Advocacy -
Helping Adults with Learning Disabilities to Speak Out
There are times when speaking out can be difficult:
 |
- At meetings
- Making a complaint
- At times of change, ie. moving house or a bereavement
|
Connect Advocacy helps people with learning disabilities to speak out
and express their own views at difficult times. The service links a Volunteer
Connect Advocate and a person with a learning disability. The Advocate
supports the person to speak out ensuring that their feelings and opinions
are respected.
