Special service helping people move easily around town & shops
What is Shopmobility?
Shopmobility provides manual and powered vehicles [either scooters or chairs] for use in the town. Volunteers run the service and a small charge is made to cover administration expenses.
Who can use Shopmobility?
Anyone who is experiencing mobility problems, whether because of an accident, temporary disability, permanent disability, of any age. The service is available to residents and visitors.
What happens on your first visit?
The service is available at the Bus Station by the Gosport Ferry. You will be welcomed by one of our volunteers and asked to complete a short form. Please bring with you a means of identification and all information provided will be treated in confidence. By joining as a member you will be able to obtain a reduction on the small charge.

All vehicles are easy to use and instructions will be given before you set out.
What happens if you meet a problem?
Shops and other outlets throughout the town will have our telephone number [0795 2312546] so that we can provide advice and assistance when it is required.
When is Shopmobility available?
